This work is a book. An object comprised of a four-part poem to be read in a single breath. it is in Hebrew and can not be translated. it’s title translation above is arbitrary. for the none Hebrew speaker, a vocal reading can be offered effectively. recorded or in real life.
Although its structural logic is musical rather than thematic, the first part, part 0, can be considered a “family elegy”, and parts 1-3 as a “prophetic-epic manifest”.
I completed the draft of the book just before I began my studies at the School of Visual Theatre in 2017. It was 115 pages long. At that time, I offered it to David Neo Buhbut for editing. Another four years of work passed until its completion. From that 115p draft, only one line remains in the final version, literally translated - "to discover something like a phenomenon.”
The work was done "on the side" feeding off remnants, disappointments, and hallucinations. Throughout the process, it was continually written and edited, in boundless collaboration with the one who transitioned from editor to chosen family member: David Neo Buhbut. Along the way, Esther Peled served as a true external reader, a sharp anchor that rescued it from complete idiosyncrasy.
The poem was tightened into a form that is useful only to itself; a form with only one appearance. This is it. publishing year 1st edition 2021 [ purchase ] editor David Neo Buhbut punctuation Esther Peled designer Ohad Hadadbook series RAF publication house KTAV print house A.R (tel aviv, israel)
