Performed at Ha’Hanut Gallery Theatre, Tel Aviv, Israel. Choreography, Performed by Harel  Wahnich. Music J.S.Bach, BWV 988, Glen Gould (1981); L.V.Beethoven Op. 125, Symphony no. 9, H.V.Karajan w. Berlin Philharmonie (1983)

For a long time I did not know what to call this work. It could have been called "ode to  shame". or "my world is not so wonderful". It could have. But I called it "disposition": a repeated mispronunciation of "this position" sliced to pieces on a carpet.

WATCH COMPLETE

Performed at The School of Visual Theatre MARATHON 2nd Year. Choreography and Performance Harel Wahnich. Music G. F. Handel, HWV 7, Lascia Ch’io Pianga; K. E. Andersen (2019); A. Vivaldi, RV 315 Summer III Presto; I. Perlman, London Philharmonic Orchestra (1983)

A recipe for a glorified failure: an attempt to articulate the pleasure and suffering of the encounter and commitment created by the artistic canon; the destiny of the Western individual to repeatedly crash against the mythological infrastructures of culture, and rise. In pursuit of (this) ageless beauty, David (the sculpture) remained intact, while my back and genitalia did not.

2020b

Duration 10m
By Ori Isahar, Oded Komemi and Harel Wahnich. Performed at The School of Visual Theatre, Internally / COVID. Performed by Ori Isahar, Oded Komemi, Harel Wahnich

We wrote a manifesto. Together. It is entirely a command to be. Passion machines, particle accelerators. Organic cyborgs. Subjects without history. Narcissists who love truth and beauty and operate in radical collaboration.

CERTAIN MACHINES ETUDE  4/4

by Ori Isahar and Harel Wahnich. Performed at The School of Visual Theatre, Internally / COVID. Choreography Ori Isahar, Harel Wahnich. Performed by Ori Isahar, Achinoam Mendelson, Sara Azeglia Siegel, Lilla Roma Weisselberg

A choreographic étude. We sought to create a choreographic piece "without content," based on aesthetic decisions; to risk exploring the limits of the "innocent passion" to create intensely and together. This is an articulation of values.
