A 12-minute score unfolding three scenes in a space ceiled off from natural light. A yellow fluorescent tube positioned in the patio’s south-west corner, initially turned on. A mother and her 10 month old son, a baby, play by the yellow light. The baby tries to reach the lit yellow fluorescent, and his mother prevents him from doing so.

A father comes out of the audience. He unplugs the yellow fluorescent. It’s now completely dark. The only sources of light are audience cameras. I forgot to tell them not to do that before hand. Had I not forgotten, no visual recollection of these moments would have last. The family walking from the patio down the corridor. The mother and father take turns trying to put the baby to sleep on their hands, walking the corridor, back and forth. They are humming a liturgic melody. The white led is lit. They approach it, all together to touch it with their back to the audience. end.
